Acronym for Future Success

Science.
Technology.
Engineering.
Art.
Math.
An acronym for future success.  An elementary and high school academic and career path that leads to well-paying careers.  STEAM careers pay starting salaries on average that are nearly $15,000 more than other careers, with some paths earning nearly $200,000 annually.

But where’s the A for art?  While art is not a hard science, it is considered essential for out-of-the-box thinking.  Creativity and looking at problems from a totally different tangent can produce remarkable results.  Art sometimes is the spark that gets the engine going.

“A perfect example is artist and designer Leah Heiss. She works with nanotechnolgists in biomedical industries to develop jewellery to assist diabetics with administering their insulin.”  (from The Conversation:  What’s the Difference Between STEM and STEAM?)

Without further ado, let’s check in to a local STEAM event in Stockton which was open to all comers.
