Sacramento Light Opera Theatre’s Winter Offerings

Opera is oft times viewed as high-brow, not for the masses (spoiler alert:  not really true). Whereas musicals seem to have more popular appeal. A bridge between the two is light opera theater.
Sacramento Light Opera Theatre’s winter offering this year includes the classic “Amahl and the Night Visitors” as well as a light comedy, “The Four Lost Santas.”
The LOT goal is to promote love of theater through community involvement according to Debbie Baad, founding artistic director of SLOT.
The plays will be shown in Napa on Saturday, December 14 and in Sacramento on December 21 and 22.
