Whether you realize it or not, art is woven into the thread of every life. From the moment we see…hear…are aware, we sense art. It enriches our lives and adds depth to our communities.
Art Expressions of San Joaquin County brings art to the public in the form of events and classes for everyone from seniors to children. Supplies for participants are provided free…and they can continue their exploration of art at home with those materials.
All of this comes at a cost, so Ana Vera, Board President and wife of founder Arturo Vera, is always seeking support. The annual fundraiser, Souper Supper is a major source of funding. This year’s event will be held at the Stockton Hilton on Friday February 21 and it brings a dozen cooks, each with a different offering together. Diners each get their own handmade soup dish (which they get to keep) to taste the soups.
