Join the Delta Invasive Species Symposium

Online or in Person, December 4 from 8:30am through 4:30pm

Local ecosystems have evolved so that all components work with each other to enhance their mutual environment. 

However outside influences can change those relationships. In this case, a small mussel from Asia has invaded the Delta, bringing with it potential problems for agriculture and water transport systems.

The Golden Mussel is a concern to the Delta Conservancy and the California Fish and Wildlife Department and efforts are underway to eliminate or at least contain its  spread.

Join the Delta Invasive Species Symposium, in person or online, on December 4 from 8:30am through 4:30pm.
