Volunteering with Animal Rescue in 2020

Neighbors helping neighbors in times of disaster.  That’s how many of the grass-roots animal rescue organization originated.  They’re generally comprised of volunteers and during a summer as long and disastrous as this one in 2020, even volunteers can be worn down and fresh volunteers needed.  But due to the often dangerous conditions and need to track rescued animals accurately, most organizations required FEMA or other courses and/or a background in animal handling.
